Fully cast and filming finished. Ant Man has another great cast including Paul Rudd (as the titular character), Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll and Michael Pena. Ant Man was trapped in production for a long, long time. The origional screenplay by Edgar Wright was described as very funny by Joss Whedon but Wright was ultimatley dropped as director. He is still credited as writer so we think some of the origional story will remain.

Ant-Man is due for release in July and with a couple of trailers posted it is fair to say any nervous fans are well and truly excited by now. It's not unusual for big name stars to sign multi picture deals and it's likely we will see Paul Rudd reprise the role many times. In an interview on The Best Show Rudd had this to say;

"To be in that Marvel world, but kind of be somewhat in a bubble [on the solo movie] and now to kind of have these experiences where I’m standing opposite Captain America, It’s been a surreal ride so far. It’s really only just starting."

We know that Ant-Man will feature in Captain America: Civil War but any further plans are unconfirmed. Much will hinge on the level of success Ant-Man has at the box office but it's a pretty good assumption to imagine Scott Lang as part of the Avengers in the Infinity Wars movies.
