Black Panther Movie News
A Black Panther solo movie was announced at the end of 2014. Originally slated for release on November 3rd 2017 but when Spider-Man took Thor: Ragnorak's spot, the demi god's third solo outing pushed back to Black Panther's November 2017 slot meaning we won't get to see the Panther until 6th July 2018. Chadwick Boseman was announced to play the titular hero and is reported to have signed a five picture deal.

Black Panther In Captain America: Civil War
The Captain America: Civil War synopsis, teases “another international incident involving the Avengers” that “results in collateral damage.” The vague description could lend itself to an event that involves Wakanda but according to HH, there might be another way T’Challa a.k.a. Black Panther gets involved. They claim that T’Challa is actively hunting down Bucky Barnes a.k.a. The Winter Soldier.
Black Panther's home country of Wakanda was teased in Avengers: Age of Ultron and with Black Panther's inclusion in Civil War it is possible that the Panther could fall on the side of Tony Stark on the pro 'Superhuman Registration Act'. Coupled with the fact that he is hunting Bucky Barnes we could see Black Panther face off against Captain America. We know that Black Panther's costume has elements of Vibranium (the same metal used in Cap's shield) which should make for a spectacular showdown between the two.
It's a pretty safe bet to imagine that The Winter Soldier assassinated someone close to T'Challa while working for Hydra which would explain the Black Panther's pursuit for Bucky. Another teaser in Age of Ultron was joked by Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson / Falcon "I was enjoying working on a missing person's case". The easter egg leads us think that Cap & Falcon will bump heads with Black Panther in the pursuit of Bucky Barnes.

Black Panther Star Chadwick Boseman Signs 5 Picture Deal
Kevin Feige revealed, in a major announcement the entire roster of Marvel phase 3 movies including the solo outing for Black Panther. Marvel also announced that Chadwick Boseman would play the titular hero. A report by Deadline confirms that the actor has signed on for five films beginning in Captain America: Civil War and obviously the Black Panther movie in 2017. The other three slots are unknown at this time but we can speculate.
With the multi picture deal in place it's likely that we will see T'Challa alongside the Avengers in the announced Infinity Wars projects just like in the comics. See Avengers Vol 1 52 where Black Panther first joins the Avengers team in the comics.
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1966 Black Panther was the first Black superhero and it's about time we saw him on the big screen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Introducing the character in Cap 3 seems like a good move. It's likely Cap's third outing could be seen by more people than any other Captain America movie which means more people will become aware of the character.
