Avegers: Infinity War Casting Begins Casting

In an article posted on MCU Exchange we have found that casting is aleady underway on the upcoing Avengers: Infinity War movie. Released in 2018 the casting process is beginning some 15 months before shooting is expected to start. Speculation suggests this could be because studio execs want to give us some cameos in upcoming titles. With the massive cast list of Captain America: Civil War (don't forget we're now getting Spider-Man in Civil war - confirmed by Kevin Feige) it is hard to imagine anymore characters could be squeezed into that one. We do have Doctor Strange and Guardians of the galaxy 2 movies coming up and we are likley to see some new characters introduced in those movies that will play a part in the two part Infinity War.
In other news The Daily Star is reporting Disney executives want Beyonce to appear in Infinity War;
“We would love to have Beyoncé on board, almost certainly as a newcomer to the screen from Marvel’s existing catalogue of comic book characters,” an unnamed senior executive at Disney told The Daily Star.
Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 is slated for release in IMAX theatres on May 4, 2018; Part 2 will open on May 3, 2019

How Age of Ultron Sets Up Tony Stark for Infinity Wars

Age of Ultron had a big impact for Tony Stark / Iron Man. He created Ultron which led to the death of innocent people including Scarlet Witch's brother Quicksilver. Couple that with Iron Man potentially being the villain of Captain America: Civil War it is possible we will see Robert Downey Jr. eventually hang up his boots in the Marvel Movie Universe. It's well written that Downey will no longer make any solo Iron Man movies and in a recent interview he hinted that the magic number of Marvel movies in his CV may end up being under 10. Let's list them;
That leaves two spots which surely must be Avengers Infinity War's parts 1 and 2 which adds up to nine. It remains to be seen how Stark will exit the MCU but fans of the comics are well aware that Iron Man meets his demise at the hands of Thanos in Infinity War. There we have it. We think that all the work done in Age of Ultron and the upcoming Cap 3 are leading us to a more palatable death of Stark as the bad guy rather than the good guy. It's hard to imagine that a younger actor won't take up the mantle however and it's been reported that Ty Simpkins who played Harley Keener (the boy in Iron Man 3) will be the one to take on the role. Of course, it's all speculation but it's what we do...

How Captain America Civil War Sets Up Avengers Infinity War
Next years Captain America: Civil War will be the first movie in Marvels phase three of movies. The enormous cast list means that the movie will feature lots of complex tales with many interconnecting story arcs. Star of Cap 3 Chris Evans, recently chatted with MTV and said this;
"Captain America: Civil War is the jump-off into The Avengers: The Infinity War. Civil War is going to be the setup for the real battle. So yeah, there are a lot of people - a lot of people in Cap 3.
Whether or not Cap 3 directly links to Infinity wars or is simply the beginning of phase 3 remains to be seen but many of the characters featuring in the movie currently filming will likely appear in Infinity Wars in some way. Joining Chris Evans in Captain America: Civil War are Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Frank Grillo as Crossbones, Daniel Bruhl as Baron Zemo, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Paul Rudd as Ant-man, William Hurt as General Thaddeus Ross and Don Cheadle as War Machine. A huge cast list which will play as a sequel to both Age of Ultron and The Winter Soldier.
