Captain America: Civil War Movie News
With most of the Avengers cast turning up in Cap 3 it will feel like Avengers 2.5. Events in the previous movie convinces the government to enforce a new law known as the 'Superhuman Registration Act'. Based on the 2006-2007 comics it seems that the story will be similar with Iron Man & Cap on opposing sides. Iron Man believes in the act and thinks that heroes should reveal their identity and work for the government. Captain America opposes the act and feels it will infringe civil liberties. The most exciting aspect for fans of comic book movies is the fact that Spider-Man is a big part of the Civil War comics and may turn up in Captain America: Civil War. Although nothing is confirmed we can only hope. With a deal between Marvel and Sony finalised MCU can offically include Spider-Man in their own movies. It's not a question of if.. but when.
Captain America: Civil War Cast
Scarlett Johansson - Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow
Elizabeth Olsen - Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch
Chris Evans - Steve Rogers / Captain America
Robert Downey Jr. - Tony Stark / Iron Man
Frank Grillo - Brock Rumlow / Crossbones
Paul Bettany - Vision
Sebatsian Stan - Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier
Emily VanCamp - Sharon Carter / Agent 13
Paul Rudd - Scott Lang / Ant Man
Jeremy Renner - Clint Barton / Hawkeye
Martin Freeman - Unknown character
Daniel Bruhl - Baron Zemo
Anthony Mackie - Sam Wilson / Falcon
Chadwick Boseman - T'Challa / Black Panther
William Hurt - General Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross
Don Cheadle - James Rhodes / War Machine
The cast list includes many, many characters and although we describe the movie as Avengers 2.5 it will very much be a Captain America movie and sequel to the excellent Winter Solder. Sebastian Stan is returning as Bucky Barnes which will be his 3rd appearance in the MCU. With still another six movies in his contract we still think he will eventually take over as Captain America. As many will know Captain America dies in the comic of Civil War at the hands of Crossbones. It's hard to imagine Cap wll die in this movie but maybe in the Infinity War movies. Whatever happens in these movies there is always a chance of retconning especially with the Infinity Stones playing a part and particularly the time stone.
Interestingly we find William Hurt returning as General Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross. It is possible that he will become Red Hulk in this movie but with the obvious Mark Ruffalo shaped hole in the cast list it's hard to imagine. Nothing is beyond possible in these movies and we could find Hulk returning to fight Red Hulk. This movie will be the first fr Black Panther - Wakanda was introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron so we have kind of been given an intro into his world.
Martin Freemans character is shrouded in mystery. Some have speculated that he will be playing the British Prime Minister - Edward Chase and was introduced in Age of Ultron - remember the scene with Ulysses Klaue (played by Andy Serkis) speaking on the phone and uttering the words "now minister, where were we?"
Spider-Man Finally Confirmed For Captain America: Civil War Appearance
Posted June 2015

After confirming the new Spider-Man will be played by young English actor Tom Holland Marvel Studios has now confirmed that the web slinger will appear in 2016's Captain America: Civil War. It has long been hoped that Spider would have a role in the movie. The comic book includes Peter Parker and has an important role in the story.
In an interview with The Hollywood reporter Kevin Feige announced;
“Holland will report immediately to the set of the currently shooting Captain America: Civil War, which Marvel has scheduled for a May 6, 2016, release and in which the newest Spider-Man will make his first onscreen appearance,” The Reporter’s Gregg Kilday wrote.
The Spider-Man solo outing will be released in 2017 in a slot previously held by Thor: Ragnarok which has pushed back the release of following movies including Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Inhumans.

To the untrained eye it is easy to miss details in photo's like the above but ifyou look closely you can see a sign that reads 'Institute For Infectious Diseases. This could give some indication of the involvement of Baron Zemo. It is possible that Baron Zemo will use the I.F.I.D in one of his evil plans.
Even more interestingly the I.F.I.D is located in Africa and could be the introduction needed for Black Panther. We know that Wakanda is part of the MCU as it was featured in Avengers: Age of Ultron but what we do know for sure is that T'Challa / Black Panther will be in Captain America: Civil War.

Captain America: Civil War Hulk
Posted 16th June 2015
The end of Age of Ultron left viewers wondering where Hulk had gone. Some hae speculated that he is in space... Plant Hulk anyone?! Mark Ruffalo may not be part of the ever growing cast list but news but recently Ruffalo announced that Robert Downey Jr. has said Ruffalo will be in Captain America: Civil War. In an interview with Hitlix Ruffalo offered an update.
"If Robert Downey, Jr. says I’m in ‘Captain America,’ I’m in ‘Captain America’ dammit. And I will wait for the day that my call sheet shows up at my doorstep or my script. At this point, I’m told that I’m in it by Robert, which I’ll take as biblical, but I just haven’t heard or seen from production yet.”
Of course this may not happen but wit Iron Man taking on Captain America and co in Civil War he may need some extra muscle to help his cause. With the inclusion of General Ross (William Hurt) fans hope that Hulk will feature to battle Red Hulk. Even if this doen's happen it's possible that Banner will show up in seom capacity. Watch this space.

Clint Barton's / Hawkeye's (Jeremy Renner) costume will bear more resemblance to the look in Earth-616's comic universe.
-
Scott Lang / Ant Man (Paul Rudd) will apparently lose the costume from the solo movie and will be more modern. It's also been reported that he will become giant man.
-
James Rhodes / War Machine' (Don Cheadle) outfit will be more tank like.
-
Sam Wilson / Falcon (Anthony Mackie) will have the red lined armour and a drone version of Redwing (in the comics Redwing is a bird that Falcon is telepathically linked to.
